Vector® KGM’s Famous No Proof Warranty

All Vector lighters are backed up by Vector-KGM’s famous No Proof Warranty. No Proof Warranty means just that. You are not required to provide a proof of purchase in order to receive warranty services on any malfunctioning Vector lighters. It’s a hassle free, no questions asked, warranty service program. It’s Vector-KGM’s way of showing appreciation and commitment to its customers. Vector-KGM is the last remaining company with an actual in-house warranty service department, with actual lighter-specialist technicians who can perform repair services on the lighters. Our industry leading turn-around time of 1-2 weeks truly sets Vector-KGM apart from other so-called lighter companies without any in-house QC and service departments.

What’s Covered Under No Proof Warranty?

All Vector® lighters and torches (lighters from hereafter). Yes, we will even service the ones that are missing few parts of the lighters, but do not expect us to service the ones that are in multiple pieces. If all moving parts of the lighters are intact, we will service the lighters regardless of the cause of malfunctioning (e.g., dropped on concrete floor, used inferior butane to refill, not used for years, etc). Mutilated lighters (missing more than 2 broken pieces) automatically void warranty.

How to Properly Send Lighters Back for Service?

VECTOR WARRANTY GUIDE

1. Package up your lighter(s)/torch(es) in a padded envelope. Ensure that your lighter(s)/torch(es) is wrapped with bubble wrap or any other kind of protective packing material.
2. Do NOT send lighter(s)/torch(es) inside its original packaging. The original product box will NOT be returned if sent.
3. Your complete contact information must be included with your lighter(s): Name, Desired Return Address, Email Address, & Telephone Number.
4. Insure package with carrier to cover your lighter(s)/torch(es) in the event of property loss during shipping. Vector® KGM will not be liable for lighter(s)/torch(es) lost in transit.
5. Include return shipping fee payment inside the package. See fee breakdown below.
6. Ship out package to the shipping address listed below.
7. Turnaround time for warranty service is 2 to 3 weeks after we physically receive the package. Email confirmation will be sent once your lighter is on the way back to you.

Discontinued Models That We No Longer Service
Nitro, Hyper, Minitro, MegaPump, Thump, Ammo, General, Hybird, Colt, Commando, Armor, Deco, Dupla, Flask, Megatron, Rapidash, Titan, Venus, Destiny, Zone, Prizm, Esquire, Monarch, Pyro. 
The listed discontinued models that void warranty service is subject to change. Vector-KGM will be the sole determiner of whether a lighter/torch model can be serviced.
Special Upgrade Program for Nitro, Hyper, & Minitro:
If stated models are sent in for warranty repair, they will NOT be serviced due to discontinuation. Customers will be given the option to upgrade to our Clash torch model for a fee of $20 in replacement of their discontinued torch. Please include a note stating, “CLASH UPGRADE” in your package. Payments via Venmo for upgrade program will NOT be accepted.
NOTE: If a discontinued lighter is sent in for service, it will NOT be repaired due to a lack of parts. Customers will have the option to upgrade to a new lighter. Certain conditions apply. Please contact us at warranty@vectorkgm.com for more information.

If you wish to find out whether we received your returned lighters or the service status, please send your inquiries to warranty@vectorkgm.com. Be sure to include the following information in your email:

  1. Your full name, address and phone number
  2. Approximate date you returned the lighters
  3. Lighter model name if it’s known to you

Vector® lighters passed all of KGM’s demanding tests and inspection standards set by KGM Quality Control. KGM warranty covers mechanical parts only under normal use and excludes damages resulting from misuse, tampering and abuse of lighters. This warranty does not apply to the outer case finish of a lighter. To obtain service under this warranty, see instructions above.

KGM OFFERS THIS WARRANTY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES. ANY WARRANTY IMPLIED BY LAW, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS, IS IN EFFECT ONLY FOR THE DURATION OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY SET FORTH IN THE FIRST PARAGRAPH ABOVE. KGM WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OF ITS LIGHTERS.
